I have lived in the Bucerias area for many years and have raised my daughters and grandchildren here on Banderas Bay. 

Over the years he has witnessed the dire need for help for animals. I could never be indifferent and I have looked for a way to help or seek help from any type of living being that needs me, at any time. 

Every day 21 cats and a Mexican raccoon come to my house for food and water all year long and they have become a wonderful part of my daily life.

Also, I have seven dogs in my house that I have taken out of very bad situations and/or off the street, giving each one the care and love they need to become wonderful members of their new homes.

I seem to be a magnet for stray animals, as I saw the other day, not an unusual day I must say. I left work and took the bus home on my daily commute. Moments after getting off the bus and doing nothing on my own; there he was: a skinny little angel made of fleas and ticks.

I don't have money to walk, but I have a vet who believes in what I do and helps me when he can. But that's why my friends encourage me to start this rescue. You see, I rescue despite everything, I borrow and I ask when I have to in order to give the care that is needed.

Maybe this will be an opening to the world that will allow me to do even more?
